Brick and Mortar Bookstore Bookmarks

Being an old bookseller I am particularly fond of old bookstore bookmarks!

These brick and mortar bookstore bookmarks range from the 1940's through present day. Most of them are single-sided; in the case they were double-sided I have scanned both sides and displayed the back immediately following the front (or randomly, if it was not clear which side was front/back).

Formerly a brick and mortar store, they have transitioned to an internet based shop. I found them on Abe Books here: https://www.abebooks.com/home/agoodread/

Clearly there must have been a service that many bookstores utilized to get bookmarks made (those who didn't have resident artists or computers to copy/paste/print something they came up with) By this selection, it looks they had a choice of various elements like images and font styles . If anyone knows the story about these template-based bookmarks please let me know!
